Earlier this morning I was in full excitement to watch Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. Drove to Terminal Putra but the parking was do damn full so I had to go to park at Taman Melati station and catch the Putra from there. Arrived at KLCC at 1.15pm. I thought I had booked for the 2pm show but got the ticket for 3pm. Whatever la. Thankfully got discount as student. So, to spend the additional hour, I went to Kinokuniya and Tower Records. It is prohibited to take photos in Suria KLCC, so I can only snapped outside.
Whatever my lecturers said about it, I’ll always love the twins.
After I took this pic I realized it’s already 2.57pm so I quickly rushed to TGV.
Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (10 STARS out of 5!!!)
Totally awesome, totally extravagant, totally spectacular!!! Definitely the BEST Harry Potter movie EVER that you won’t feel bored for a second in this 157 minutes long (2 hours 37 mins) installment. (Yeah, this is the longest edition too). The cast were amazing and really suited their respective roles perfectly. Despite being laden with CGI effects (which made this movie the most expensive in the WORLD), the brilliant storyline and great performances from the cast prevent this movie from being a soul-less visual feast. No need to say more, you just HAVE TO WATCH THIS A.S.A.P!
After the movie, I went to the washroom (of course la, everybody will). Then after I got out of the washroom, I heard some people talking "nak pergi salam dia tak?". Hmm… I suspected something. I proceeded with my mind thinking "Who could it be? Artis ke?". Then I saw. I was speechless. Siti? no.. Mawi? again, no. He’s none other than one of my most cherished idol, Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad. This is my first time meeting him, and thankfully my camera’s with me. So I went tak malu and asked one of his bodyguard (I guess) to take my picture with him. Totally an awesome day I won’t forget.
He’s a big hit.
Everybody wanted to shared their precious moments with him.

Thank God this person manage to capture my precious moment just perfect.
I’ve heard about this, but the recent visit to Jeff Ooi’s blog stunned me. Even when it slipped a drastic 80 place from 89th to 169th, I guess the Top 200 is already something truly big for UM to bloat about. The photos speak for itself.

Proves that time is not the factor. I thought after getting back home I’ll post more entries, given more free time, but I was wrong. I got nothing to be posted - since I got nothing to do here. After a month of crazy and hectic-ness, my life suddenly took a 360 degree turn into a blank and empty state. Gone were the sounds of 1st year studio students, the loudness, the raya songs played on their and my notebook. I’ve been missing those days like crazy. Right after getting back home, 3/4 of my days were filled with zzz… (recovering from days of unsleepness). Right now, I think it’s been fully restored. Now I feel sooo lonely. Hmm… so I drastically decided to visit Afeeq’s house. Spent 3 hours there chit-chatting. And went back home. Still feel lonely. 2 months more. Somebody save me.
p/s: Good luck for all STPM candidates especially Dian, Pah and Amira. Wishing u guys all the best.
Wishing all my family members, Sek Ren Sultan Sulaiman (1)/Sek Keb Usaha Ehsan/Sek Men Seri Gombak old school friends, Malacca Matriculation College especially F2P5, UKM’s 1st year architecture students, Kolej Pendeta Zaaba’s mates, and all the readers a very happy Aidilfitri. May this year’s Aidilfitri be more meaningful to you guys.
I officially ended my first semester and left UKM yesterday. Architecture students were among the last one left, majority of other students already went back home days before, so UKM was like a deserted place with empty parking lots, empty toilets, empty college and cafes closed. In what has been only months, thousands of memories were already made here, joy and despair, laugh and tears shared together with my friends. 2 months of holiday will surely make me miss you guys!
My final project presentation

After racing against the time for over a week, on Sunday, we had internal final review where our own lecturers gave marks to our final project presentation. Then on Monday, we had our external review where some outside architects and lecturers from other universities gave marks too. When answering my question, En. Mazlan, one of my lecturers said "There’ll be never 100% pass case. This time 3 students failed, (of course) I’ll never tell who." Personally, I’m quite satisfied with my project and presentation. I know I did my best and I’ll stay optimistic.
